Project title: Incorporating multiple environmental considerations and their economic implications in the management of landscapes, forests and productive sectors in Cuba

Implementing Entity: National Center for Protected Areas (CNAP) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA)

Brief description of the project:

The project will promote the generation of multiple global environmental benefits (BAGs) based on the economic valuation of ecosystem goods and services, as a tool for decision-making at different levels. Specifically, it will address the threats associated with the growth of mass tourism, the emission of liquid wastes from industrial, extractive and domestic sources, unsustainable agriculture, maritime transport, and port operations.
